Youth Programs
Pillar Ranch works with teens by offering several service options. The
Empowerment groups are offered regularly for the teen population. Church
youth groups can also schedule a time to bring their youth group out (offered
for both middle school and high school) to work on issues that teens
typically face. These topics can include: boundaries, relationships,
positive body image, communication, habits, problem-solving, choices, and
more. Topics can be addressed that are requested by the youth
pastor/leader. Church youth group programs have been developed for issues
such as: boundaries, safety, respect, teamwork, peer groups, and
self-image.
Pillar Ranch really enjoys working with the teen population and wants to
serve teens whenever given the opportunity. We understand that teens today
face many challenges, and struggle with brokenness in their world which
creates its own set of challenges.
Our goal is to allow those teens to have an emotionally safe place to
realize and process their feelings, struggles, and choices that will affect
them many years down the road.
Special programs can be designed to fit the needs of 4-H clubs, Boy
Scout or Girl Scout badges, or homeschool groups.
We also have programs that are co-facilitated by a counselor for:
- grief and loss
- divorce
- women in transition
- teens
- couples
Pillar Ranch offers Personal Development Workshops for adults. These
range from 90 minutes to 3 hours for one session. Some topics that are covered
are: communication, self-esteem and self-care, distractions and
temptations, problem-solving skills, and relationships. These workshops are
great for: singles groups, networking groups, a group of friends, and more.
