Equine Assisted Learning
Corporate and Team
Building Development
Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) is an experiential learning method using
the horses to give feedback and reveal aspects of our character. EAL is
effective for groups, teams, and corporations.
We customize a session for your corporation or team that can run from 90
minutes to a full-day workshop with a catered lunch. In the corporate
development workshop we will identify issues in communication, team
perspective, leadership, team work, obstacles to productivity and effective
goal setting.
Ropes courses have been used successful for many years to increase team
cohesion and productivity through team building exercises. For the past few
years, though, facilitators have realized that feedback from horses can
benefit team building.
At Pillar Ranch, clients are led through ground-based exercises designed
to improve decision making, communication skills, and effectiveness among
the team members. Clients have found that the personal growth that occurs
during the sessions increases productivity and improves morale. Researchers
say these are two keys to team building. People are so fascinated by horses
that their attention is held during the workshop, which allows them to
absorb more.
If your group would like more information on a workshop designed just
for you, call Pillar Ranch today at 719.250.3664. We look forward to
serving you.
